The HydroApps mobile app makes it easy for staff to complete and submit forms directly from their phone or tablet. Whether documenting swim tests, operational records, patron information, or custom facility forms, staff can quickly access and complete forms from anywhere in the facility.
Accessing Forms
To begin filling out a form:
Tap the Navigation Menu
Select Forms
Choose the correct facility using the facility selector
Once the facility is selected, you’ll see the forms available for that location.
Starting a New Form
To create a new form entry:
Select the form you want to complete
Scroll to the bottom of the screen
Tap Start New
Just like the HydroApps web platform, you can also review and continue any forms that are already in progress.
Completing Form Information
After starting a form, staff can enter all required information directly in the app.
Depending on your form setup, this may include:
Dates and times
Names and participant information
Staff conducting the activity
Pass/fail selections
Parent or guardian information
Operational notes or comments
Custom questions configured by your facility
For example, a swim test form may allow staff to document:
The participant’s name
Who conducted the swim test
Swim test results
Parent contact information
Additional notes about the participant
Submitting & Finalizing Forms
Once the form is completed:
Tap Submit
Confirm the submission to finalize the form
The form is then officially logged and stored in HydroApps.
Notifications for Completed Forms
If notifications are enabled, designated staff members can automatically receive alerts when forms are completed and submitted through the mobile app.
This allows supervisors and managers to stay informed in real time as operational documentation is completed throughout the day.
Viewing In-Progress Forms
The Forms section also allows staff to:
Review in-progress forms
Continue unfinished submissions
View previously started entries
This makes it easy to complete documentation across shifts or revisit forms that still require additional information.
