The HydroApps mobile app allows staff to quickly log, assign, track, and update maintenance issues directly from their mobile device. Whether reporting damaged equipment, facility concerns, or operational repairs, staff can create maintenance tickets in just a few taps without returning to a desktop computer.

Creating a Maintenance Ticket

To log a new maintenance issue:

  1. Tap the Quick Input (+) button at the bottom of the screen

  2. Select Maintenance Ticket

  3. Tap Add New Issue

From there, staff can begin entering the maintenance request information.

Entering Maintenance Details

When creating a ticket, you can:

  • Select the facility or location

  • Associate the issue with a specific piece of equipment

  • Choose the date the issue was identified

  • Enter notes describing the problem

  • Mark the issue as urgent or non-urgent

  • Assign responsible staff members

  • Set a due date for completion

This helps ensure maintenance requests are clearly documented and assigned for follow-through.

Adding Photos to Tickets

The mobile app also allows staff to attach photos directly to maintenance tickets.

To add a photo:

  1. Tap the Add Photo button

  2. Take or upload an image of the issue

Photo documentation can help maintenance teams quickly understand the problem and improve communication between staff.

Saving & Notifications

Once the issue has been entered:

  1. Tap Save and Exit

  2. HydroApps automatically creates the maintenance ticket

If notifications are enabled, assigned staff members will immediately receive an in-app alert notifying them that a ticket has been submitted.

Viewing & Updating Maintenance Tickets

Staff can review maintenance tickets directly within the mobile app to see:

  • Outstanding issues

  • Completed repairs

  • Recently submitted tickets

  • Assigned maintenance tasks

To update a ticket:

  1. Open the ticket

  2. Add notes or progress updates

  3. Tap Save and Exit

This makes it easy to track ongoing repairs and maintain accurate maintenance records in real time.

Accessing Maintenance Tickets from the Navigation Menu

Maintenance tickets can also be accessed through the app navigation menu:

  1. Tap the Navigation Menu in the bottom left corner

  2. Select Maintenance & Tickets

From there, staff can browse, review, and manage all maintenance activity for the selected facility.
