Using the Scheduling Dashboard in the Mobile App

The HydroApps mobile app includes a streamlined Scheduling Dashboard that gives staff quick access to important scheduling information all in one place. From upcoming shifts and scheduled hours to open shifts and time off requests, the dashboard provides a fast overview of everything staff need to manage their schedules throughout the season.

Accessing the Scheduling Dashboard

To open the Scheduling Dashboard:

1. Tap the Navigation Menu

2. Select Dashboard

The dashboard is designed to provide a quick snapshot of your scheduling activity immediately upon opening the app.

Viewing Your Next Shift

At the top of the dashboard, HydroApps displays your upcoming scheduled shift information, including:

• Date

• Shift time

• Position

• Facility location

This allows staff to quickly confirm when and where they are scheduled to work next without needing to open the full schedule view.

Quick Access Buttons

The Scheduling Dashboard also includes shortcut buttons for commonly used scheduling features, including:

• My Schedule

• My Availability

These shortcuts make it easy to quickly jump into schedule management tools directly from the dashboard.

Schedule Summary Cards

The center of the dashboard includes scheduling summary cards that provide real-time staffing insights.

These cards display information such as:

• Scheduled Hours Today

  • The total number of hours you are scheduled to work today.

• Scheduled Hours This Pay Period

  • The total number of scheduled hours for the current pay period.

• Hours Worked So Far

  • The number of hours already worked during the current pay period.

• Pending Shift Changes

  • Any pending substitution requests, shift pickups, or scheduling changes awaiting approval.

• Open Shifts

  • A quick overview of currently available open shifts that may be eligible for pickup.

These quick insights help staff stay informed about their workload and scheduling opportunities throughout the week.

Quick Links for Scheduling Actions

At the bottom of the dashboard, staff can quickly navigate to:

• Submit time off requests

• View available shifts

• Manage scheduling activity

This creates a centralized scheduling experience that allows staff to handle most common scheduling tasks from a single screen.
