The HydroApps mobile app was designed to give aquatic staff fast, mobile-friendly access to the tools they use every day. From scheduling and pool testing to maintenance tickets, checklists, certifications, and notifications, the app makes it easy to stay connected and manage operations directly from your phone.
Main Landing Screen
When you first log into the HydroApps mobile app, you’ll arrive at the main landing screen.
From here, you’ll have quick access to:
Facility selection
Navigation tools
Scheduling features
Notifications
Profile management
Quick operational inputs
At any time, tapping the HydroApps logo at the top of the screen will return you to the main landing page.
Using the Facility Selector
At the top of the app, you’ll see the Facility Selector.
This allows staff to:
Select the facility they are currently working at
Switch between multiple assigned facilities
Quickly confirm their primary facility
The facility selector works similarly to the HydroApps web platform for a familiar user experience.
Managing Notifications
The Gear Icon in the top right corner opens your notification settings.
From there, users can:
Enable or disable push notifications
Manage notification preferences
Control which alerts appear on their device
Notification permissions are based on both:
Administrator settings
Individual user preferences
Bottom Navigation Menu
The bottom navigation bar gives users access to the core areas of the app.
Navigation Button
The bottom left Navigation Button provides access to:
Scheduling tools
Operational modules
Facility management tools
The tools visible here depend on the permissions assigned to your account.
For example:
Users without pool test permissions will not see pool test tools
Users without checklist access will not see checklist options
This keeps the app clean and role-specific for each staff member.
My Profile
The My Profile section allows users to manage personal information, including:
Name and contact information
Profile photo
Mobile number
Emergency contact details
Users can also review certifications directly within the app.
Certification Management
Within the profile section, staff can:
View certification expiration dates
Review certification notes
Upload certification documents
Upload image or PDF copies of certifications
This makes it easier for staff and managers to keep certification records organized and up to date.
Messaging Feature
The HydroApps messaging feature is currently being updated and will be available in a future release.
Once available, messaging tools will allow staff to communicate directly within the app.
Notifications Center
The Notifications Button in the bottom right corner provides quick access to all recent alerts and updates.
Users can review:
Pool alerts
Maintenance issues
Checklist notifications
Schedule updates
Incident reports
Operational activity
Notifications help staff stay informed about important events happening across the facility in real time.
Quick Input Button
The Quick Input (+) button provides fast access to commonly used operational tools from anywhere in the app.
Quick Input options may include:
Pool Tests
Maintenance Tickets
Checklists
Incident & Injury Reports
Audit Reports
This allows staff to quickly document operational activity without needing to navigate through multiple screens.
