Updated: Apr 21

HydroApps has introduced a new Facility Selector to help you stay focused on the facility you’re working in and avoid common mistakes. This update also improves how key tools are organized, making day-to-day tasks faster and more efficient.

What’s New

The Facility Selector is now available on:

  • Facility Manager

  • Equipment Manager

  • Staff Manager

When a facility is selected, you’ll only see the information that applies to that location.

This update also reorganizes how Checklists, Forms, and Equipment Management are displayed, reducing clutter and making navigation simpler within the Facility Manager.

How the Facility Selector Works

  • The Facility Selector will default to your primary facility

  • If you are assigned to multiple facilities, you can switch between them at any time

  • Once selected, all visible data is filtered to that facility only

This means you are always working within the correct context without needing to manually double-check locations.

What You’ll See Filtered

Based on your selected facility, HydroApps will automatically filter:

  • Checklists

  • Pool Tests and bodies of water

  • Maintenance Tickets

  • Forms

  • Equipment and Inventory

You’ll only see what is assigned to that facility, helping you stay organized and focused.

Why This Matters

Before this update, it was easy to accidentally:

  • Start a checklist for the wrong facility

  • Enter pool test results under the wrong body of water

  • Submit forms tied to the wrong location

With the Facility Selector, those errors are significantly reduced. You can move through your tasks confidently, knowing everything is tied to the correct facility.

Additional Notes

  • The Facility Selector controls where you are entering and viewing data

  • It will not appear on pages that already include their own facility filtering, such as Schedule Management or Reports

This update is designed to simplify your workflow, reduce mistakes, and make it easier to manage operations across one or multiple facilities.
